butterscotch baking chips
Maple Icing
1/4
cup
heavy cream
1/4
cup
butter
melted

tbsp
pure maple syrup
2-2 1/2

powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a stand mixer, beat butter and shortening on medium speed for 30 seconds.
Add sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar. Beat for two minutes.
Add vanilla, butterscotch extract, butter extract, and eggs.
Add flour.
Remove bowl from stand mixer and fold in butterscotch chips.
Using ice cream scooper to form dough into small balls. Place on baking sheet approximately 3 inches apart.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Once baked, let cookies cool for 2 minutes on pan & then transfer to wire rack.
Drizzle with maple icing.
Maple Icing
In a small bowl, whisk heavy cream, melted butter, and maple syrup.
Whisk in powdered sugar in small batches until desired consistency is reached.
