Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pan with paper cupcake liners.
Using a hand mixer, beat cake mix, butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
Scoop batter into prepared cupcake pan, filling 3/4 of the way.
Bake for 21 minutes, or until toothpick is inserted & comes out clean.
Decorating Instructions
In a stand mixer, combine butter, cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla bean paste. Mix on medium until well combined. If you notice your frosting is clumpy, you can add up to 2 tablespoons more heavy whipping cream.
Continue to mix until stiff and creamy.
Add prepared frosting to piping bag, fitted with #3 tip. You can also use a plastic sandwich bag with the corner snipped off, if needed!
Use the piping bag to make spaghetti on cooled cupcakes. Long squiggles criss-crossing the cupcake will give the appearance of spaghetti noodles. Pile them high!
Decorate with M&M candies and Christmas sprinkles. Top with mini marshmallows!
