Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the PEANUTS Gang are a special part of the Knott’s experience. During the PEANUTS Celebration, the Charles M. Schultz comic strip is celebrated in a unique, park-wide event. From unique activities to adorable photo op’s, the fun of PEANUTS Celebration was one of our absolute favorite parts of the year.
The celebration will be happening daily January 27th through February 25, 2024.

Photo Opportunities
One-of-a-kind photo opportunities fill the park, celebrating the PEANUTS Gang. In addition to fun backdrops, the comic speech bubbles are great fun. Make sure you’re selfie-ready as the beloved PEANUTS characters appear at unexpected locations for personal interactions.
Playing hopscotch, riding trolleys, hanging with the animals in the Livery Stable, the PEANUTS Gang presence makes for some special memories.

Calico Mine Stage
The PEANUTS characters will perform the musical game show It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown, with the loveable title character getting the surprise of his life. There will be music, fun and surprise guests, including the world’s most famous beagle, Snoopy.
The stage will transform at nightfall as the park hosts Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert. The Peanuts Gang has teamed up with the family-friendly indie band, The Jelly of the Month Club, for a high-energy spectacle sure to have everyone dancing.
Calico Town Hall
A brand new, limited-time exhibit is coming to Calico’s Town Hall. The new show is dedicated to the iconic character Franklin and his importance to history and pop culture. Snap a photo with him while you’re there.
Bird Cage Theatre
The PEANUTS-inspired festivities will continue at the Bird Cage Theatre as the park offers an experience that teaches the young and the young at heart how to draw their favorite PEANUTS characters. The PEANUTS Sketch School will include our resident art teacher, providing step-by-step instructions on creating the perfect PEANUTS masterpiece.
Also in Bird Cage Theatre is Charlie Brown’s Trivia Challenge, where guests test their knowledge with PEANUTS universe questions and eye-popping visual challenges.
Calico Park
A western escapade occurs at Calico Park with Franklin and Linus as they transform into cowboys in the PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree. The boys are hosting a western escapade as they channel their inner cowboys in PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree at Calico Park. Perfect for the kids, join in the rootinest, tootinest games in Calico.
Also in Ghost Town is Pigpen’s Pig Pen, where everyone’s favorite messy pal will be joining the rest of the PEANUTS Gang as he hosts a special meetup at the Livery Stables with some of his animal friends.

PEANUTS Celebration Themed Food Offerings
Celebrating all things Charlie Brown wouldn’t be possible without the yummiest and cutest themed treats.
It’s the Great Mac & Cheese, Charlie Brown
Dig into a variety of mac & cheese centered dishes this season. They’re colorful, fun, and offer some unexpected surprises for your tastebuds! Yes, there’s mac & cheese INSIDE of the pancakes!
You can purchase food items a la carte or take advantage of the NEW Tasting Card offered this season. For $45 dollars, you’ll be able to sample 6 different food items. The tasting cards last all seaon long so you can enjoy a new item or two with each visit.

My favourite is Snoopy… he’s so charismatic..these celebrations feel like they are going to be epic!!
This is fabulous! I would love to go there and I am totally loving those Charlie Brown rice krispie treats! If I can I will make sure to get to one of these parks so that my kiddos can enjoy Charlie brown and the gang as much as I did. I still have all of my Charlie Brown movies 🙂

Oh my gosh, how fun. I’ve been a Peanuts fan since I was a kid and even as a grown-up I would still get a kick out of getting my picture taken with the characters.
