Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween Scavenger Hunt

Enjoying the Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween with kids? Print these Scavenger Hunts to find festive fun around Knott’s Berry Farm while enjoying the Taste of Fall-O-Ween event!

As a Knott’s Ambassador, I receive complimentary admission. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Knott’s Berry Farm has previously hosted two successful “Taste of” events. The Taste of Calico and then later the Taste of Knott’s, allowing guests to enjoy flavors of the Farm in a socially-distanced environment. Recently, the theme park added Halloween flair to the food fest with the new event.

While the theme park remains closed, Knott’s Berry Farm introduces its newest family-friendly outdoor food and retail experience celebrating the Halloween season and the flavors of Fall with Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween. Taking place Thursdays through Sundays beginning September 25th, Knott’s pays tribute to the year’s spookiest season with a Fall food experience unlike any other. The spirit of Halloween comes to life with a cornucopia of Harvest and Halloween décor that will transform the park for the season.  Guests of all ages can dress up in their most festive costumes* to experience one-of-a-kind themed food and treats, exclusive event merchandise including specialty items from local crafters, an all-new “Into the Fog” art show with over 45 new art pieces celebrating the scary season, and so much more. Plus included with a junior tasting card, young guests will have an opportunity to take a trip through the fully themed Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Hershey, loaded with multiple treat stations and special spooky decorations. All Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween activities will be conducted at a safe and socially distant space for families to enjoy.

Making family memories at Knott’s certainly has taken on a new look! As we kick off the spooky season, my family and I are looking for new ways to make Halloween-themed memories. The brand new Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween is the perfect way to do that!

The food event is filled with delicious flavors capturing the spirit of the season. Today I’m sharing an additional way to celebrate at Knott’s during the limited-time, separate ticket event–Taste of Fall-O-Ween.

If you’re visiting with a family, know there’s plenty of fun for kids planned!

Things to Do with Kids at Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween

Trick or Treat Trail

Junior Tasting Cards are $20 and include 3 tastings, plus a trip down the Trick or Treat Trail.

Sponsored by Ralph’s and Hershey’s, the trick or treating trail begins at the entrance to Camp Snoopy off of Fiesta Village. You’ll receive a goody bag and be invited to stroll through the path to 10 different treat stations. By the end of the trail, kids will have received approximately 30 pieces of candy.

Along the way, enjoy the Halloween decorations with just the right amount of spookiness. Adults may notice some familiar nods to Scary Farm, cancelled for 2020. There are tons of fun photo opportunities, and also costumed associates dressed as scarecrows who engage and entertain.

Sample Taste of Fall-O-Ween Foods

With a Tasting Card, kids are encouraged to enjoy festive Halloween foods. Plan your meal in advance by checking out this Foodie Guide to the event.

The tastings are quite generous! I would suggest planning a beverage like the Mad Shirley Temple, a food item like the Hot Cheeto Corn Dog, and a dessert.

Got a picky eater? Request modified meals. My little one gobbled up a cheeseburger from the Coaster’s location without the Knotty sauce. Get a plain hot dog or tater tots.

One thing you’ll notice as your arrive at Knott’s, they really want all out with the decor! The theme park really rules the Halloween season. From great pumpkins to spooky crypts, there’s a ton to look at and take in.

While my family attended together during the day for the first trip, visiting the park at night is a completely different experience. We ended up heading back to the hotel for a mid-day break and then went back so we could enjoy both!
