Start Your Day at Knott’s with Donuts

From where to find the best boysenberry themed snacks to saving on passes, we’ve been asked a lot of questions about Knott’s Berrry Farm.  One of my best tips for maximizing your fun at Knott’s Berry Farm is to get there early!  If you’re arriving early to the park, there’s an all-new treat you won’t want to miss — DoughKNOTT’S!  That’s right!  Knott’s Berry Farm has a brand new bakery specializing in donuts!

As a member of the Berry Bloggers, I receive complimentary admission into the park.  Please read my Disclosure Policy for more information.

One of my favorite perks of being a Knott’s Berry Farm passholder is early entrance into the park on select days.  Typically we’ll race to rides that we know will have longer lines later in the day, like HangTime.  That frees up time to follow-up our coasters with Camp Snoopy for the younger family members.  The afternoons are perfect for taking in shows like this summer’s Beach Blanket Beagle.  Our itinerary for our Knott’s visits just gained one more item with this week’s opening of Mrs. Knott’s Bakery Express.

Mrs. Knott’s Bakery Express replaces the Cinnabon location, just outside the park.  If you’ve parked in a Knott’s Berry Farm lot, you’ll walk alongside the California Marketplace.  As you approach the security queue, Mrs. Knott’s will be to your left.  It has ample seating and the most incredible offerings.  But before we get to all the amazing donuts, did you know there’s a Starbucks outside the park as well?  It’s a hidden gem tucked behind the Cable Car Kitchen restaurant.  Hello, Boysenberry Frappuccino!

Knott’s Berry Farm Donuts

I spied donuts on the Knott’s Instagram feed and knew our next trip was going to include a stop at Mrs. Knott’s Bakery Express.

We had the pleasure of sampling a few of the donuts, affectionately named doughKNOTT’S, and they were all seriously fantastic.  A cronut-style donut, the Knott’s Berry Farm treats are decadent ways to start your day.  They’re big enough to share a few among your family, but in the name of “research” we were sure to order a few of the offerings.  Each doughKNOTT was $5.99 and eligible for passholder discount.

My husband opted for the Bacon Donut with a yummy maple glaze.

I chose the utlra colorful Fruity Pebbles which was everything my sugar-loving heart desired.

And my daughter gleefully requested the Princess Donut with pink and purple sprinkles.

There were so many options that I can’t wait to try.  The Chocolate Explosion comes topped with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate chips, and crushed chocolate cookies.

In addition to the regular donut menu, there are additional Loaded doughKNOTT holes available.  The $12.99 price tag may seem steep, but this is not a single serving!  To accompany your doughKNOTT, grab a coffee or tea.  Water and soda are also available.  One of our favorite additions to the 2018 Boysenberry Festival was the Boysenberry Boba Tea.  It’s back and available at Mrs. Knott’s Bakery Express.

DoughKNOTT’S make for the perfect way to start your day at Knott’s Berry Farm.  Plan your rides, shows, and entertainment over a yummy breakfast & coffee.

Do you love donuts as much as we do?  Share your favorite in the comments!
